So what’s in it for me if I were to make it to the finals and actually win? I will get $40k, a photo on the cover and an interview inside of NewBeauty magazine, and a spacation to Scottsdale, Az!! I mean, all of that sounds pretty exciting and may even be able to give me a platform to inspire other women that there is life after hardships! However, I didn’t know going in that the results would be completely reliant on promoting myself. I apologize if I have annoyed anyone. At this point, unless I was a tik tok star, I doubt I can even get into the top 20. It was cool to be considered though!

Hi All! I was selected to be in the Fab Over 40 competition. Right now I am trying to get to the top 20 and have less than 8 days left. I need to be in slot 1 to get there. I am scheduled for gallbladder surgery this Thursday April 22nd. My shop will remain open as my family will be helping to fulfill orders. They have been a tremendous help, so I am confident they will do a great job. However, they will not be answering messages. Beginning Wednesday evening, messages will be going unanswered until I feel well enough to get back to it. If you can put me in your prayers during this time, I’d really appreciate it.
