The Grafton Fire Department, with support from other area departments, are working on a water rescue situation in the Milwaukee River. Two kayakers lost their vessel and are stuck on an island off Manchester Drive and Heather Court. Two other people are in the water, but have been located by a drone.

Please use caution on the water today. High water levels have already forced the cancellation of a Milwaukee Riverkeeper kayaking event planned for this evening in Grafton.
