‌Prior to taking the quiz I knew I was having mood swings, cortisol issues, anxiety, depression and my results just confirmed it for me

‌Here’s my plan.. I did some research and I’m starting a plant based protocol to lower my cotosol, boost serotonin, balance my hormones and heal my gut which is our second brain!

‌When I take this quiz next time I’m going to have decreased anxiety, more motivation and no procrastination, rid of extra body weight, reduce mood swings.

SO, I am going to be a real with you all. This past month I gained back all the weight I lost due to poor eating and summertime alcoholic drinks. I couldn't believe my pics from this past weeks vacation. Thank God I wasn't tagged in any!

After our fair next week I am going to restart fresh! Why after fair? Because I will be away from home and not in my controlled setting for my eating plan. If I am going to do this, I am going to do this right!

My goals are:
1. to Eat consciously (I do not count calories- Amen to that!)
2. I am slowing down or abstaining from my alcohol consumption.
3. I am going to start attending my workouts again consistently
4. I am going to follow my 8 day reset regiment.

Anyone else in this same boat. Wanna join me?

Its not too late to have that end of summer body!

Beef Zucchini Boats!

3 zucchini
2 tsp olive oil
Salt
Pepper
1/2 onion
Garlic (2 cloves)
1 lb lean gr beef
Chili powder
Ground cumin
Paprika
Bell pepper

1. Preheat oven 350°
2. Scoop out zucchini, set aside in a bowl.
3. Place in baking dish and drizzle with 1 tablespoon of olive oil with salt and pepper.
4.  bake until zucchini, softens.
5. Heat remaining olive oil in skillet. Add onion, zucchini, innards cook for five minutes.
6. Stir in garlic.
7. Add ground beef.
8. Stir and chili powder, cumin, paprika, salt, pepper.
9. Spoon and beef mixture. Bake for 15 minutes.

309 cal, 15 g of fat 37 g of protein 8 g of carbs

19 FOODS TO REDUCE SUGAR CRAVINGS!

1. Fruit and berries- low-glycemic and provide plenty of sweetness without spiking blood sugar

2. Advacado- suppresses hunger, increase meal satisfaction, limit insulin and blood sugar spikes, reduces type 2 diabetes and cardiovascular disease
-Add to salads, smoothies OR! Combine with cacao , and sugar free maple syrup for a delicious pudding

3. Pistachio’s- they are eaten slow since you gotta break the shell and contain protein, healthy fats. Proven to decrease sugar cravings and weightloss

4. Sesame and chia seeds - protein, monounsaturated and polyunsaturated fats as well as fiber which combat cravings
-mix chia in pudding

5. Sweet Potatoes - vitamin and minerals with fiber
- sweet potato fries!

6. Dark chocolate- has antioxidants and polyphenols that carb cravings. Has less sugar than regular chocolate. The higher the % of dark chocolate the less sugar. Try 89-90%. It also gives a noise of dopamine and serotonin without spikes in blood sugar

Finally!

7: Dates! (I have personally never tried them) - high in potassium, polyphenols, and fiber. You get the same amount of sweetness but it’s natural sugar!

Forgot to check in! All I know is todays workout makes me want to make sure I eat healthy. I don’t want to eat empty calories in that hard of a workout to just have the benefit of working those off!
