💖🐺 🌙 MEET YUKI - A BRAVE SPIRIT WITH A GENTLE HEART 🌙🐺💖
Yuki’s story is one of quiet resilience.
Yuki was found wandering alone in Gilpin County, Colorado — scared, thin, and unsure who to trust. A low-content wolf hybrid, Yuki has clearly known hardship in her five years. We’ve since learned from a DNA-tested sibling that she was one of several puppies handed out by a man at truck stops across the country, offering them to strangers with no thought to their future.
And yet… despite the hand life has dealt her, Yuki remains so sweet.
She’s shy at first — cautious, careful — but given time and kindness, she warms up beautifully. Her eyes soften. Her tail begins to wag. She’ll even play ball, chasing it with joy and bringing it right back for more. Her behavior is more canine than wolf, and she clearly wants to bond and belong.
In a surprise twist, Yuki gave birth to two healthy puppies on Saturday, May 10. She’s been a gentle, devoted mom. Now she and her little ones need a safe, loving place to continue their journey.
Now, she and her pups need what they’ve never had: a safe place to grow and be loved.
Yuki is a special girl with a lot of love to give. She just needs the right person to give her—and her little family—the second chance they deserve
We’re searching for an experienced foster or adopter who can guide this little family through the next chapter — someone familiar with northern breeds or hybrids who can give Yuki the stability and care she so deeply deserves.
Once the pups are weaned, all three will be ready for forever homes.
Yuki’s story could have ended so differently. But it didn’t. She survived. She held onto her gentle spirit. And now, she’s learning that love is real — and safe.
Please help us write a better ending for Yuki and her babies.
