Beloved...As I was praying last night, I began to ponder some things then God answered me.
ME to HIM: Why does the people who say they are saved,sanctified and FILLED with the Holy Ghost always seem to have negative commentary about another man's proclivities,propensities,
downfall or whatever superlative they may choose? Oftentimes, they speak from a posture of perfection in which we know isn't true.
HIM (God) to Me ,"Daughter some of them don't read my Word so they don't know the scipture and the others choose whose lives the Word will be applicable to in certain situations."
So I thought,yes Lord because you told us in Galatian 6:1-2;
"1 Brothers, if anyone is caught in any sin, you who are spiritual [that is, you who are responsive to the guidance of the Spirit] are to restore such a person in a spirit of gentleness [not with a sense of superiority or self-righteousness], keeping a watchful eye on yourself, so that you are not tempted as well. 2 Carry one another’s burdens and in this way you will fulfill the requirements of the law of Christ [that is, the law of Christian love]. (AMP)
Then the Holy Writ as recorded in the Gospel of John the 8th chapter came to mind..
3-6 "The religion scholars and Pharisees led in a woman who had been caught in an act of adultery. They stood her in plain sight of everyone and said, “Teacher, this woman was caught red-handed in the act of adultery. Moses, in the Law, gives orders to stone such persons. What do you say?” They were trying to trap him into saying something incriminating so they could bring charges against him.
6-8 Jesus bent down and wrote with his finger in the dirt. They kept at him, badgering him. He straightened up and said, “The sinless one among you, go first: Throw the stone.” Bending down again, he wrote some more in the dirt." (MSG)...
I could take all day with scriptures but we get the point...THROW THE STONE if you ARE SO PERFECT.....we should not rejoice in any mans' calamity ,even those who have been caught red-handed in a wrongful act..PRAY FOR THEM! The Lord KNOWS the WAY WE MUST TAKE and we are ALL HIS CREATION! Stop trying to be an expert witness with no expertise...certainly everyone is entitled to their opinion..but it is JUST THAT..an opine..not FACTUAL...different perspectives through different filters....
Let us be LIVING EPISTLES,READ BY MEN that they see the LOVE OF CHRIST through us! JESUS KNOWS ALL THINGS and HE DOES ALL THINGS WELL!! LOVE COVERS a MULTITUDE OF SIN!
I Peter 4:8 "And above all things have fervent love for one another, for “love will cover a multitude of sins.”
And so it is written and it is so....
