Breakfast and we just learned that his upcoming appointments is actually more than 3 appointments! It'll be 5 appointments!

●Plastic surgeon follow up
●Oncologist Routine visit
●Oncologist physical therapy
●Oncologist occupational therapy
●Neurologist New patient visit

All the Oncologist ones will blend together tho!

As y'all know Gunner has an upcoming appointment with his plastic surgeon for the last time due to him moving to Utah! But no worries Gunner's gonna be getting his second hand man! But I'm putting a small gift together to thank his surgeon for everything he has done for us! He will always be apart of our family no matter what! So I purchased a inkless ink pads kit! It's not the easiest thing to do! It would of Gunner's hand was more on the normal spectrum with being able to completely lay flat! But that's not gonna happen ever due to what he's been through! But what do you guys think about how this looks?? I can't straighten his ring and pinky fingers out!
Thoughts y'all???

Ps we also chose gold to show support for childhood cancer 🎗
And his cancer Infantile Fibrosarcoma!

In this world I was gifted the best job ever when I conceived and gave birth to this sweet child of mine! He's been a handful since he was in my tummy with so much appointments to make sure that he was healthy! Yea I had him early at 35W3D due to him being born with cancer! Yes if you don't know already my son was born with Infantile Fibrosarcoma a rare infant cancer! He was diagnosed at 2 months old he's now 14 months old and still going strong! This kid is my everything! He's my reason! My saving grace! He makes the bad days good! He's a hellion already! So watch out world 🌎! Definitely a mama's boy! He's the strongest kid I know because of everything he's been through! I've been right by his side! Through tears, worry and all the nerves! But I'll always be exactly by his side showing him that's the way its supposed to be! Gunner is my sweet baby boy! He's got the best mom, gammy(that watches him from heaven)! My boy will go places just watch and see! I'm his mom and his everything!!! I love you so much Gunner James! ☺️
Happy Mother's Day to all the moms out there! To the moms with angel babies! To the fur moms! And to anyone that considers themselves as a mom!!!

So Gunner doesn't have many shorts but I still have pants that don't fit him anymore cause he's a growing boy😊! So what I did last night was cut these pants into shorts for my boy!! And they work perfectly!!!!! Might just do that to the rest of his pants that don't fit him!!!!

I'm proud to say that we've kept food down today!!! I even managed to get him to eat chicken and rice soup in his straw cup with mini crackers!!! Yes I know it's a lot of sodium but it's a meal!!! But on the other hand we're dealing with extreme diaper rash!!! We've been given some great recommendations that we plan on trying!!!!

He had a great night! Didn't get sick at all! Got woken up twice due to the neighbors that just moved in! And Gunner is currently eating crackers!

Gunner's SMO Brace appointment went great!
But once we got home Gunner took a turn.
He vom!ted multiple times! It freaked me out! This is the first time that this has happened! I immediately called my main man which my man helped me suggest what to do.
Gunner ended up going to the ER once again!
Once we got there he ended up getting sick again! The nurse even said you could tell it was taking all his energy just to get sick! Once there he also got extremely extremely tired! They tried to put an IV in to do fluids and get a bl⁰⁰d but he was dehydrated so that wasn't gonna work. They ended up doing a chest xray which looks similar to Friday's ER visit! They did get a urine sample sometime before we came home! He was given pedialtye which he kept down! They gave me some applesauce for him but he took a few bites then pushed it away! Today has been a day!
All I hope is that my baby feels better soon!

Today Gunner has his SMO Brace appointment today! Not really sure how it's gonna go. But his P/T said an observation and a fitting. Who knows. I really don't know what to expect tbh!! But I'm excited cause this could help him very much get onto the path of walking! Anyway here's my cute little boy on his crab 🦀 outfit! When I saw it weeks ago I knew he had to have it! Ya know living on the Eastern Shore where the blue crabs 🦀 are the best!

Y'all we went outside today!! We don't do it really at all! But right now we got a lot going on and only 37 days to find a place to move too! I'm definitely getting nervous 😓! But here's some of the photos we took!!!

Oh my goodness you're 14 months old!!! We're did the time go! You love all food! Haven't found one you don't like! You still only have 8 teeth but you have another one trying to poke through! You only say mama and Dada! You can't walk yet but that's ok! We think that when you get you're braces you'll take off!
We love you so much sweet boy!!!!

When you feel his cold isn't getting better so you take him in to be seen again!

Update:

On April 16th Gunner started signs of a cold. With very slight coughing, runny nose, congestion, and slight fevers and a fever. On April 19th he was seen at his pediatrician office. And she told us that he just had a cold. Fast forward to April 23rd. Cough is now wet sounding and it don't seem like he getting any better. He even was making another sound while eating due to being congested. Today April 26th I dropped him off with the baby sitter and she told me that she could feel the congestion through his back. I didn't understand so she had me place my hand on his back then her hand on top. And oh my i could definitely feel it. So I chose to take him to be seen once again after work. Flu, RSV, covid all came back negative so that was definitely good! Next up chest xray. Very scary thing they have to put he kid in to do. But they saw fluid in the xray. My sweet sweet boy has pneumonia! He's also on antibiotics! I swear this kid can't catch a break! If you feel something isn't right it can't hurt to get someone else to look/exam you're child cause it could very well help. If I had went against my feeling who knows how bad he would of got!

Exactly one year ago I got the worse call any mom could receive! April 26th, 2023 in the afternoon that day I finally got the call of Gunner's results! I stayed calm on that phone call! But being told that my son has Infantile Fibrosarcoma hit me like a Mac truck! After that call I fell to the floor in tears 😢 😭! Not knowing what to do but fight! And fight hard! Being told so much medical terms on that call! But I asked for time and they gave it to me! I had no one with me at that moment! I had only told a few until the very next day when we went public! Gunner has fought since the time he was on the inside! He fought everyday he was in the NICU! He fought through all 5 procedures with one being major! To this day he's still fighting his battle with cancer! Gunner is the strongest kid I know! And I know all us parents say that but Gunner truly is strong! He smiles through everything that he's been through and will continue to go through. In all honesty we can't thank his hospital CHOP enough because they are the ones that gave us the diagnosis! The ones that saved his hand! The ones that have dealt with a strong mama bear backing her son up! I will forever be thankful for his hospital 🏥! Gunner still takes his tr3@atm3nt daily and will continue to do so until further notice!

Eye Dr Appointment went like very quickly 🤣! They said to continue patching. But his eye is still having issues with distance cause it free floats when looking at stuff on a distance. Said there's nothing he can do till he's a little older. I mean if he's gotta have glasses 👓 mommy does too🤣.
His eye Dr even gave us a choice of we wanna come back in the summer over the Bay Bridge or wait till September when the vacationers are pretty much done! Now how cool is that!!! Next Appointment September for his eyes 👀!

Ps if you can't tell octi is his favorite toy!! And yes I've bought another! 😌

Y'all Gunner finally crawled!!! Yes he's been army crawling for like a month and a half! But y'all he got up on all 4s and crawled!!!!

Since tiktok has seen it first! We can walk assisted! Bittersweet moment when he went right to doing it with me! Shout out and thanks to the one that got it on video! Oh sweet boy you're growing right up on me! Soon you'll be running around and I can't wait! I love your little soul with my everything ♥️

Gunner officially sat up for the first time by himself on February 3rd!! It has taken me 5 days to get it on video!!! Because ever since that night he's been doing it constantly!!!!
