I’m missing our Turkey Vultures!! and checked them up in the Tehachapi News. They write that vultures depend on rising columns of warm air which provide them with lift and help them get airborne with a minimum of effort - in search of carcasses.

As the days get shorter and colder, thermals become more scarce in the North, so vultures head south into Mexico, migrating in a flowing river of big black birds. Safe Travels my friends!
