Awards & Entertainment Emmys ceremony

Welcome to the online Abel Prize award ceremony for 2020 and 2021! The award ceremony will take place at 15:00 (3pm) CEST/ GMT+2, May 25 as an online event due to the continued spread of covid-19. The ceremony will honour both the 2020 laureates, Hillel Furstenberg and Gregory Margulis, as well as the 2021 recipients, Avi Wigderson and László́ Lovász. - Opening speech by Professor Hans Petter Graver, President of the Norwegian Academy of Science and Letters.
- Citation by the Abel Committee’s chair, Professor Hans Munthe-Kaas.
- The awarding of the Abel Prize, and the acceptance speeches, by the four Abel laureates 2020/2021.
