We quickly drove through Dixie National Forest to get to Bryce Canyon City.

If the weather was better (night temperatures dropped to 26F!) we would have boondocked there.

I didn't realize how stunning the drive would be. Have you ever been?

I wasn't sure if the place we picked for an overnight stop would be good. Turns out it was spectacular. 🗻

When there's a mostly empty campground, don't park right next to another RV.

Also, park within the parking space instead of making up your own.

Luckily, these asshats were only there for a couple of nights, while we enjoyed this beautiful, dry camping spot on the Snake River for a week.

This week, our #localtourist trip was to Bolinas. Bolinas is easy to miss on the way to Stinson Beach, with no signs (purposely!) marking the way in. Cory's uncle raved about the fish and chips there, and with a quick online search we found that the Coast Cafe in Bolinas was the place to go. We had the cheese plate (my fave was the Red Hawk by Cowgirl Creamery), grilled oysters in butter & garlic, and catch-of-the-day salmon fish & chips, all perfectly paired with a Pacific Rim Wines dry Riesling.

Update on the RV I realize I didn't finish talking about Polly, our rabbit. She's skittish and I don't think she'll do very well on the road, or being in a small space with our dog. She now lives with my sister, next door to her rabbit. Today I'll finish setting up her new hutch and pen.

In the the middle of downsizing and taking lots of little trips to Goodwill, about two a week. Here are another batch of donations. It's amazing how much stuff we keep just because we have room for it! #downsizing #rvlife
