A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WATCH has been issued in SW Montana through 10 PM Tuesday evening. We also have a SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING issued for central and western Madison County through 3:30 PM for winds in excess of 60 mph and the possibility of 1" hail. If you are in the path of this storm, please seek shelter indoors until the storm has passed.
The Storm Prediction Center has issued a Severe Thunderstorm Watch through 10 PM this evening. The severe weather threat mainly revolves around the potential of 60 mph wind and some small to moderate hail. There are several cells right now that are producing some heavy rain, lightning, and possibly some small hail. If you find yourself in the path of one of these storms you should take shelter indoors. We will keep you posted on the very latest as it unfolds.

We are once again hot & dry for you Wednesday, but with a few isolated dry thunderstorms possible late in the day and into the evening. Fire danger is quite high over the course of the next 2-3 days with low humidity, stronger wind, as well as that possibility of dry t-storms through Thursday evening. Be safe if you are heading outside today and keep in mind that air quality is still not the best.

RED FLAG WARNING issued for SW Montana Saturday. Extreme heat, very low humidity, and increasing surface wind will produce higher fire danger. Small fires can quickly grow out of control. Human caused fires are the primary concern so please use common sense with your outdoor activities.

Morning Road Report: Mainly wet, but watch area passes for icy conditions and there are still a few chances to see snow in the mountains today. Highs should sneak into the 50s today with a few spotty rain showers through the evening. If you have tender plants like tomatoes, you might think about covering them again tonight as Wednesday morning temperatures could be frosty for a few areas, especially west of the continental divide.
