We are looking for truck drivers to share their wisdom and help us make the transportation industry a better place!

Its never a good idea to keep things inside, not for too long. Because when we get squeezed its probably going to come out one way or the other! Sometimes all we need is an outlet. Maybe a set of ears or a microphone. In this case both! Here are 3 reasons that getting things off your chest can benefit your life!

Relieves stress and tension: It will help you sort through your thoughts and clarify whatever is going on for you at the time. While all your problems may be internal, it’s hard to believe how it really works. But once you’ve said it out loud, the problems get easier to get a hold of.

Promotes healthy relationships: Communicating openly improves our relationships in business and in life. When our expectations are communicated properly there is a much better chance of having them met. Making our relationships stronger and based off of trust.

Educates others: Making the world we live in and the industry we work in a better place starts with sharing our hard earned wisdom. The lessons we have all gotten the hard way are invaluable to share for the improvement of our everyday lives. Not to mention if you teach someone something that makes their life easier, you are bringing them value. Causing a feeling of accomplishment that can ease depression and promote happiness.

Yesterday after work we hit the truckstop to show our appreciation for our drivers!!! We had a ton of fun and met some really cool drivers. We even scored one of the best interviews we have to date so stay tuned for that!

We will be hitting up random truck and rest stops in western PA throughout the week armed with some gift cards, swag and a whole lot of gratitude!

Did you know it can take a fully loaded semi-truck well over a minute to get up to 60mph? Most passenger vehicles today make 60mph in 10 seconds or less. Imagine trying to merge into 70mph traffic on the interstate if your car took this long to get to speed. Sound stressful? If you see a trucker trying to merge give them some space, give them a signal and let them in! If you are lucky you may even get a flash of their marker lights to show their appreciation! (This is cool to see even as an adult!)

Let's show our appreciation for drivers by giving them the respect they deserve everyday on the road and otherwise.
