Important hair care tip for my fellow Black hair rockers!

Did you know that you shouldn't relax and permanently color your hair on the same day? Waiting 1-2 weeks between relaxer and permanent dye applications helps prevent over-processing, breakage, and damage. But if you can't wait that long, consider using non-permanent dyes like semi-permanent or demi-permanent colorants instead!

Take care of your crowning glory!

Remember, not all hair types are created equal. Black hair, in particular, requires special care due to its unique texture and structure.

Here's why:

Black hair is more fragile and prone to breakage, with a compact cuticle that makes it harder for moisture to pe*****te. The hair shaft is also more prone to tangling and knotting.

In contrast:

- Caucasian hair tends to be less fragile and more resistant to breakage.

Throwback to my heartwarming visit to Gambella, Ethiopia (2018) - a place I hadn't seen since 1995! Watch as my stepmom and uncle filled with joy.

Although my birth mom wasn't there, my stepmom's love and warmth made me feel so happy and at peace. It was a beautiful reminder that family is everything.❤❤❤🙏🙏🙏
