Our Winter Special Edition is now online and will soon drop (in print) locally. In this issue we are honoring the late, great Walter Boyd. For as long as I've owned Burlington Magazine (and long before that), Walter has been known as Burlington's local historian. Over the years you've read his articles online and in our printed magazines. We will continue to honor Walter by recycling the many, many, many articles Walter has given us permission to print. If ANYONE has any memories of Walter they'd like to share, we'd LOVE to hear them (and will be printing some in our upcoming issues this year). Also, we're going to be pushing for a permanent memorial to 'our local historian' and we have some ideas about that but would LOVE to hear your ideas, too. Feel free to post them in the comments here and we'll retrieve them (or email any info, pictures, etc. you may have).

Join us on Sunday, December 10th from 5:30-7pm as we decorate cookies to be donated to Allied Churches of Alamance County. ACAC is a local organization that works to address and prevent homelessness and food insecurity in Alamance County.

This is a FREE family event. Registration is open on 4-H Online until December 8th.
