Blake took a class with Trina at the Hollowed Earth Pottery Studio. They offer classes for all ages and experience levels. Their process for teaching is calming and centering! What a wonderful experience to have during our time in Greenville, S.C. There is also a delicious Gregorian food reataurant named Keipi located in the same Hampton Station Arts District which is a ten minute drive from the center of Downtown Greenville. @hollowedearth

Restaurant Parmesan. Homemade pasta, veal, and seafood. 38, rue Saint Louis. This Old Quebec restaurant is a fun place for birthdays and family dinners. I imagine it is quite a wild spot to watch soccer matches, too! We loved finding this spot with a history of a accordian players.

Writing for children and teaching a child how to read is a passion I can’t live without. I feel pure joy when I write for children. I also love to teach students how to become more proficient readers and writers. The first time I saw joy in a child’s face because she could read, I realized that reading and writing were activities I wanted to devote the rest of my life to. Moreover, becoming a mother has increased my love for the art of reading and writing and my will to set a good foundation for my son’s life long learning.

I produces a radio show for kids named Tunes and Tales on 88.9 KRFC FM Radio Fort Collins. Tunes and Tales provides a forum for children to hear stories read out loud by published picture book, middle grade, and YA authors. Kids can get their wiggles out to music performed by local musicians, theatre groups, and entertainers, and with songs from the latest albums of children’s music.
