"As long as there has been media, there has been a need for sound. As George Lucas famously said, sound is 50% of the experience in film. It’s no different in games, and sometimes sound can be as important as visual clues in a game. For instance, you can’t see an enemy sneaking up on you, but you can hear their footsteps getting closer and closer."

We're so happy to see how much love Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty is receiving and are ecstatic to have been able to work on some of it with CD Projekt Red! If you want to check out our handiwork, take a gander at the Chimera spider tank boss fight below🕷️🤖. We had a stupid amount of fun creating unique sounds for its movements, vocalizations and weapons.

Sound Lab provided design on all Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty in-game cinematics.

It's always interesting to see behind-the-scenes footage from a game we contributed to 😃 🎥 . This one is Call of Dragons - an MMO game we did dialogue editorial and VO sound design for, while working with our sister studio, Blindlight, who was responsible for the casting, recording, etc. So many larger than life characters and fun performances!
