There’s a reason.
Newsstands used to be the lifeblood of magazines. Today, they can be a death sentence for independent print.
By the time distributors, wholesalers, retailers, shipping, and unsold copies are accounted for, a publisher can see very little from a magazine sitting on a newsstand. And the copies that don't sell? They are destroyed and we are not paid for the unsold copies. That's a tough business model for anyone trying to keep a real, physical magazine alive.

We believe print still matters. There's something about holding a magazine, putting it on the shelf, and coming back to it years later that a social media post will never replace.
If we want print to survive, we have to support it.
