Today, we at U Matter Magazine had the pleasure of supporting several local businesses during the 4th annual "For The Culture Market" at the College Station City Hall. We purchased a range of products from various vendors and captured photos of their booths and promotional materials to share on social media for those who couldn’t attend the event. Among the wonderful businesses and nonprofits we encountered were Mrs Roses Babies, Candi's Eye Candy Jewelry, A&L ScrunchMeCrazy, Kpratt Inspirations, and more! This event aims to "create a space that honors and celebrates the diversity, resilience, and creativity inherent in the Black community, fostering unity and empowerment." It was a fantastic opportunity to network and we wish all participants continued success!🙏

In just one month, we will launch the next edition of U Matter Magazine! Please save the date for this free, drop-in social event—I can't wait to see everyone there. We will have appetizers, drinks, a photo booth, and of course, complimentary copies of our Spring/Summer edition of U Matter Magazine. We had a fantastic time at the ABWA - Leading Women Express Network 2024 Christmas party! The white elephant ornament exchange, delectable chicken fajitas, and the abundant laughter made for an unforgettable evening. It was wonderful to meet Granger Smith and his lovely wife, Amber, on the first day of the Hope Conference. Granger Smith, a renowned country music artist, dedicated his life to Christ following the tragic loss of his three-year-old son, River. His book, "Like A River," is currently available and will be highlighted in the upcoming edition of U Matter. The book serves as a powerful reminder that God has a purpose for our pain, and that purpose is always for our good.
