No. You admire the wisdom and grace that those droopy branches represent.

You don’t frown at the rough and scratchy texture of the sand particles beneath your feet right? Nope, you close your eyes and embrace the sunshine while standing on it.

You don’t laugh at the rippling waves you watch them roll down the creek bed do you? No, you take a deep breath and honor the serenity.

Then why do we scowl at our drooping pieces that’s just a testament to all of the amazing accomplishments?

Why do you hide the texture of your skin even though it’s a natural part of aging and celebrates how many years you’ve been given?

Why do you resent the waves of your belly when it ripples during a joyous laugh?

You know what breaks my heart?
You know why I preach about healing yourself and your own traumas?

Because women's basketball is FINALLY getting the recognition it deserves...and instead of everyone rallying around that, especially women, we are tearing down and comparing women in that league. Pitting them against each other instead of celebrating and hoping for the success of EACH woman and the LEAGUE.

It's so damn frustrating to keep seeing people tear down every move Caitlin Clark makes.

It's so damn frustrating to keep seeing people tear down and judge Angel Reese based upon appearance.

It's so damn frustrating to keep seeing women (and men) judge this rookie class for every single mistake or mishandling of the ball...as if they could do better from behind a keyboard?

It's so damn frustrating to see so many WOMEN tearing down these young 22 year old women with every single move they make...who have brought SO much positive change to the WNBA FOR WOMEN.

It's so damn frustrating to see WOMEN tear down the veterans in this league and how they handle the rookies coming in..or bashing their approach.

THIS IS HISTORIC. We are watching a NEW LEVEL happen and instead of manifesting success for this league and ALL the new rookies..and all the FUTURE LITTLE GIRLS WATCHING....I see SO many just tearing them apart....and for what?

What if for just one season we stopped tearing them down and supported them. We showed our little girls that times are changing and supported this new movement. We supported ALL of the WNBA.
