A full decade of 🖤
10 years ago today my life was forever changed when my first set “Sweater Weather” debuted as SOTD over on 🎀 Since then, I have traveled all over the country, spent a a majority of the last decade in Los Angeles, lived in the SG mansion getting to take care of amazing women and people from all over the world, attended my first ComicCon in San Diego working the SG booth, made lifelong friendships & have worked for SGHQ doing different positions, currently working as the model assist ✨
In 2014 my life on Long Island at the time was not good, I was stuck in an abusive relationship I felt I’d never be able to get away from alive, I didn’t have much support from the friend group I was in, I never saw myself as getting far in life due to the malicious behavior from the people around me constantly trying to keep me down and I was ready to just give up completely at one point. On a whim I applied to SG then got an email from Kiley letting me know that Alissa & Radeo were on a photography tour visiting Brooklyn soon, after reaching out to Alissa we scheduled a shoot and the rest is history. These people changed my life, gave me purpose and helped me become the successful woman that I am today. I would not be here if it weren’t for them and their support, I would have succum to my darkness before I ever got the chance to experience anything in life. I was so young and yet I was so unhappy and ready to give up. Today I am so, so grateful I made the decisions that I have to put me where I always belonged. The SG community and culture is something I love and keep very close to my heart, I am truly so thankful for every opportunity I have received because of it. Thankful for every friendship I have made. Thankful for every path that I have crossed.
