She's Changing Chinese Delivery
Chinese food in America is changing.
For the longest time, Chinese food meant sesame chicken or beef with broccoli to most Americans.
But a new wave of Chinese chefs are changing how Americans think of Chinese Food.
We spent a day with @Amelie Kang, the young, brilliant restauranteur behind Málà Project and Tomorrow NYC to see how she's making the Chinese food she grew up with part of everyday life for New Yorkers.
---
We partnered with Seamless / Grubhub for this video. They are an amazing platform that powers how NYC and the US eats.
We use Seamless to get delivery from our favorite restaurants all the time here at Nowhere Men HQ, and have been for nearly a decade.
We're working with them this month to bring you the stories behind the best food around New York.

Keeping Homeless Students On Track - Ep. 123 - Wayne + Khalil
NYC has a crisis on it's hands, and most people have no idea.
Of the 1 million public shool students in this city, over 100,000 of them are experiencing homelessness.
Let that sink in.
Becoming homeless can change a kids life for the worse, forever.
This video is about a program that is making sure these kids stay on track.
If you care about this, watch the video, and then read the rest of this post, because it will probably answer some questions you have.
1️⃣ What do S.I.M.B.A. and A.S.E.T. stand for?
S.I.M.B.A. is the boy's program and means "Safe In My Brothers Arms"
A.S.E.T. is the girl's program and means "All Sisters Evolving Together"
2️⃣ What is Khalil doing now?
Wait until the end of the video?
3️⃣Who is Wayne Harriss?
Wayne works for the Department of Education, but this is something he started on his own. He is a father figure to these kids, and they truly love him. As opposed to telling these kids how they should live, he listens to them and responds to their needs. Because of this, these kids have infinite respect for him.
4️⃣ Why did we make this video?
When we heard there were over 100,000 homeless students in NYC, we were shocked. High school is hard enough, everyone knows that. The fact that these kids are living in shelters, sometimes hours away from their schools, being forced to deal with 7 or 8pm curfews, plus constant check ins from the authorities blew our minds. People need to know about this crisis if the city is going to do anything about it.
5️⃣ How can you help?
We're doing a holiday fundraiser for the programs, which you can find in a link in the comments.
That's it!
