This past Saturday, September 20th, young people — along with the invitation of concerned citizens of all ages — hit the streets in leading a massive global effort to call pressing attention to the state of our planet and the climate crisis. As climate change at this stage is no longer a matter of “if” and now a matter of “when,” these strikes serve as a historic moment in the future trajectory of our planet. All of this precedes the UN Climate Summit beginning this week. More strikes are to be held September 27th.
