Will Montejo Actor- Singer Borned June 19, in Camaguey, Cuba, the grandson of Mr. Raphael Montejo,a circus performer,and grandmother Mrs.

Zoila Infante, who performed as a jingle singer at CMJQ radio station. Will Montejo was exposed to the world of arts at a very early age. In 1976, Montejo is awarded “Best Male Actor” for his debut in a rendition of "Despetronca," a vaudeville comedy where both his acting, and singing performances received rave reviews from the Cuban entertainment community, and critic circles. ved to Havana City to join “The Caritex Project", study folk poetry- Cuban culture, and the satiric monologue of the likes of Latin-American authors Arturo Liendo, Achilles Nasoa, Antonio Castell, all the while continuing to appear in some 120 performances in arts centers, theaters, television and cabarets in, and around the capital city. In 1990, Montejo hosts the “Cuban Nights” production" at The Terrace's Cabaret (Casino-Night Club) for a three month run, as well as the Felix Elmusa Social Club, and Abreu Fontaen. He also appeared in several films including the "Caravan Movie,” "The Impure One", and "The Century of the Lights, " which was filmed by the famed Cuban Film-Maker Humberto Solas. Will Montejo was guest VIP in the “ Professor Paintings Galery, Mr. Pedro Del Valle”, in The Friendship Townhouse at Lenin Park. In this place, Soraya Sanjuan, general manager of this installation gave the keys of "The House Of The Popularity" to carry out his own Show, "The Will Montejo's Show"... Within 6 months on billboard, Montejo carried everything that the arts entertainment provides. Will Montejo, and his various repertoires, carries the General Director of the show, Master of Ceremony in every performance, hosting singers like: Sonia Fernandez, Susy Alvarez, Raquel Hernandez, Tahomy Selemed, Maria Antonieta and others... By 1994, Montejo joined the “Caribbean Association Of Cuba”, he had to his credit several tours throughout the country. and also participated in a Tribute to the first Black Cuban Star, Candita Batista, in June of 1995. In 1996, Will Montejo returned to his hometown as special guest on “Maide's Show,” presented in various cabarets, and night clubs throughout Camaguey, Montejo also joins the Cuban National Music Institute. Someone once said: "Love is always present in the essence of the major classics.” That said, Montejo is truly a classic Cuban entertainer, having delivered his talent to his fans with much love. In his long career, Will has been performer with icons such as The great The Izquierdo Brothers Orchestra, Jorge Gonzalez-Ayue, Maria Antonieta, Simon Roberto, Bertha Ballard, Juana Bacallao and others. In 1999, as a result of being awarded emigration rights to the USA in the Cuban Visa Lottery, Will Montejo currently resides in Atlanta, Georgia, where he continues to appear in Latin American events in Latin night clubs and other popular venues around the City.
