The Colorado Playlist is an historical Colorado radio program. It got its start as “the Colorado Sound,” on 88.9FM, KRFC Fort Collins, April 2006.
10 core broadcast stations (KAFM, KBUT, KDNK, KHEN, KJAC, KLZR, KOTO, KOYC, KRFC, KSUT) air over 50 frequency-hours of programming a week, spread across 23 FM frequencies in CO, NM and UT.
Markets covered include Denver, Boulder, Crested Butte, Northern Colorado, Cheyenne, Steamboat Springs, Colorado Springs, Pueblo, Durango, Telluride, Vail, Summit County, Salida, Grand Junction and many others.
Host Chris K., aka “goat,” is no stranger to Colorado music and radio. Chris has been on the air in Northern Colorado off and on since 1978, with on-air stints at KPAW (classic rock), KGLL (country), KCSU (public radio, Americana, rock & jazz shows), KSQI (AOR & AAA), KIMN (CHR / Hot AC), KUAD (Top 40 / AC) and more. Chris is currently on air Saturday mornings from 6AM-12PM and Sunday evenings from 5PM-8PM at 105.5 The Colorado Sound.
