A reminder for those that are working on your own project or business. Where you started is not where you are today. Big changes, small changes they happen. Don't be ashamed of these changes and or cringe at what came before. Things start as a seed and grow into something more and it's all a lesson and a path. We are on our 3rd logo as we have fine tuned it down. Things move, plans change and that's ok! No shame on where you've been and take the time to look back briefly and congratulate yourself for how far you HAVE come!

Looking at these 3 all together makes me giggle because it shows growth, time and basically the same feelings are there we have just learned a few things and made changes. Here's to the seeing the next growth!

Sometimes it feels like the path is too wild to get through. Too poky. Too noisy. Like you might not be able to get through.

Look for the light and keep going. On the other side is blue sky once you get past the hurdles.

Yes, I know Trader Joe's isn't local but they have a lesson I feel they can teach for small businesses.

Inclusion. Now maybe they do it to make Celiacs feel better or maybe they just know that people who are limited by things make the choices. Or the family will make the choices to be inclusive for the member to be safe.

I almost cried yesterday and I did drop a well placed shocked fbomb unknowingly in front of an employee. I have not been able to get any baked goods for the fall 🍂season since being diagnosed.

Not to mention the baked goods 🥐we do find are so expensive we must savor and it's a rarity.

When we go out we choose specific businesses because we know they understand and don't make us feel shameful about our needs.

If you think you know what's in Gorst, you don't. It's not just gas stations and car dealers. Tucked in the back is and and today they are hosting an event you must stop in for. Dog and kid friendly. An ocean is just many tiny drops of water. An avalanche can happen from the start of one small rolling rock.

It's ok to not be able to climb the mountain on day one. But you have to step. You can pick one small piece and start there.

And if nothing else, remember what the Monty Python boys said. "Nobody expects the Spanish Inquisition"
