Tonight was the annual Silver Dollar City Employee Children’s Christmas Party. Every child received a gift from Santa, and afterward we got to stroll through the park and enjoy the lights all to ourselves. It’s always such a fun night!

One of our favorite Christmas trees in the area sits along Lake Taneycomo. This is located at Hulland Park in Hollister, and can be seen from the Lake Taneycomo bridge in Branson. Hulland Park is a great place to catch some views of the lake and Branson Landing. It’s also a great place to launch a kayak.

It’s a soggy Saturday at Marvel Cave, but we’ll be here giving tours and spreading warm Christmas cheer all day!

This picture was shared with me by one of my followers — who is one of the little boys in the front row. One of his family members he attended Silver Dollar City with that day would later go on to become very famous.
