From time to time, Shera and I stumble across some amazing spots in the Ozarks. On a random drive, we discovered The Bean Counter Coffee Bank, a coffee shop inside the former Bank of Galena building in Galena, MO (circa 1906)—just about 30 minutes from Branson.

This place will take you back in time! The building still has all of its original bank features, complete with the old safe! They serve up fantastic drinks along with pastries and lunch items. While we didn’t have time to try the food this visit, the drinks were wonderful! We’ll definitely be back soon for lunch! The Bean Counter Coffee Bank is open Monday through Friday 8:30am-2:00pm.

Today, I had lunch with a friend at our favorite Chinese restaurant in Branson. While there, I realized, I had never shared it with y’all!! So let me introduce you to Panda House! We usually do the drive thru a couple times per month for a quick, cheap, and delicious meal on the go for our family! Today, I got to enjoy the buffet in their newly renovated dining room! This place is immaculate and the food is fresh and amazing! This is a local favorite, and it is local owned! Make sure you check it out! 😊 -Shera
