This magical sight is a must see if you’re in Branson! Pictures just do not capture it all! It is right on our daily route, and we have been watching this family add more stuff every year, for at least 20 years! Just drive down Bird Rd in Branson and you cannot miss it! Make sure to roll your windows down so you can hear the music they’re playing! 🎄 🎅🏼 ⛄️

It’s the end of an era. In October, Shera and I visited the Lil’ Cafe in Commerce, Oklahoma—a place that holds special meaning for us, as Shera worked there in high school. Since 1989, this small restaurant has been a true staple of the community and a beloved stop along Route 66 in Northeast Oklahoma.

Tragically, the owner, Dave White, passed away unexpectedly a couple of weeks ago. With heavy hearts, the family has made the difficult decision to close the restaurant. Today marks the final day of operation for the Lil’ Cafe.

Our thoughts and prayers are with Dave’s family and everyone whose lives were touched by this special place.

In the 1950's, the Cathedral Room tower was made of wood. I wish I could have seen it then!
