When we go to Harter House, we know dinner is going to be great! đŸ„© The locals here know their meat counter is second to none — the best selection around and some of the friendliest service you’ll find anywhere.

If you like to grill when you visit the Ozarks, this is definitely a place you’ll want to check out. This location is in Hollister.

Today was the last day of Christmas break, so we decided to get out and enjoy it! I realized our youngest kids had never been to Talking Rocks Cavern before—and that’s a shame, because it’s a beautiful cave!

Cave Guide Brian was incredibly knowledgeable and gave a fantastic tour. If he looks familiar, that’s because he works at Marvel, too!

You can easily spend most of a day at Talking Rocks with their nature trail, mini golf, speleo boxes, and mining sluice. They are open every day!

Last night was my final tour of the season, and let’s just say
I may have had a little too much fun. There were plenty of laughs, a few extra jokes, and it was a tour I won’t soon forget! I’m especially thankful that Shera and our daughter were able to join me for it.

Off-season goals: more adventures on this page, and doing my best to stay in shape so I can still do the stairs in March!
