Springtime sliding always makes up for thin early season conditions. This particular slope was way too flat but the view was incredible. Late spring light always makes for dreamy sunsets in the high alpine come mid April. Anyone else looking forward to more late days and nights shredding this spring snow? I know we are.

Our newest episode dropped yesterday with .sears. Benjamin became the center of attention on a few months ago thanks to a post he created about a yoga retreat center he is trying to establish just east of town on Goose Creek. We wanted to get the real story as we thought Benjamin was getting hated on for all of the wrong reasons and was unable to rebuttal his side of the story to HOB. That’s when we called him and set up our interview. He has a hearing today in Bozeman about the fate of his home and we wish him the best. We will let our listeners decide what they think. She is a professional skier in the winter chasing deep snow and a professional boat captain in the summer chasing salmon in Alaska. Born and raised in beautiful Sun Valley, Idaho, Peterson grew up racing on the Sun Valley Ski Team, and eventually raced for UC Boulder on the USCSA team. After being introduced to big mountain skiing and the Freeskiing World Tour a year after collegiate racing, McKenna said goodbye to her skinny skis and started competing in Big Mountain competitions. Since starting on the World Tour, McKenna has been in several Warren Miller films, MSP films and other independent off-shoots. She is still focused on competing, but mostly with herself and has found solace in not taking her job too seriously.
