Warren County Public Schools Athletics is hosting a Toy and Sports Equipment Drive from Monday, December 9th through Saturday, December 21st. This is your chance to give back and make the holidays brighter for local children and families!

Bring a new toy or piece of sports equipment to any scheduled athletic event at a Warren County public middle school or high school during the drive.

🎁 What to Donate:

🎄 From Scary to Merry: Santa’s Lookout is Open! 🎅

Scottsville’s Skeleton’s Lair has transformed into Santa’s Lookout, a magical winter wonderland featuring a holiday train ride through lights, visits with Santa, costumed characters (even the Grinch!), cookie decorating, a 150-foot Santa’s Super Slide, and a unique camel display! 🐪✨

Perfect for the whole family, this interactive experience promises fun and holiday cheer for all ages. 🎁 Don’t forget to make your train ride reservations early—spots fill up fast!

🏈 Back-to-Back Champions! 🏆 The Bowling Green Purples have successfully defended their Class 5A state title, defeating the previously unbeaten Cooper Jaguars 37-20 at Kroger Field in Lexington. 

Quarterback Deuce Bailey led the charge with three rushing touchdowns, showcasing the Purples’ offensive strength. 

The defense was relentless, sacking Cooper’s quarterback seven times and limiting their ground game to just 38 yards. 

Congratulations to the entire team and coaching staff on this remarkable achievement! 🎉

Western Kentucky University (WKU) is set to face James Madison University (JMU) in the Boca Raton Bowl on December 18, 2024, at FAU Stadium in Boca Raton, Florida. This matchup marks the first-ever meeting between the Hilltoppers and the Dukes. 

WKU concluded the regular season with an 8–5 overall record and a 6–2 mark in Conference USA play, securing a spot in the Conference USA Football Championship Game, where they were defeated by Jacksonville State. 

This appearance will be WKU’s third in the Boca Raton Bowl, making them the team with the most appearances in the game’s history. The Hilltoppers previously won the 2016 edition against Memphis and the 2021 edition against Appalachian State. 

JMU finished their season with an 8–4 overall record and a 4–4 record in the Sun Belt Conference, tying for third place in the East Division. This will be the Dukes’ first appearance in the Boca Raton Bowl. 

The game is scheduled to begin at 5:30 p.m. EST and will be broadcast on ESPN.
