Today was filled with lots of laughter, hugs, handshakes and maybe a tear or two.

Today was my final day as an employee with WBKO News.

To say I am grateful for these amazing people would be an understatement. These are some of the funniest, hardworking and most genuine people you will ever meet in your life (some folks are not pictured sadly, but you know who you are). I am truly going to miss them.

Not only will I miss my amazing co-workers, but I am also going to miss the Southcentral Kentucky community. You all welcomed me with open arms and supported me since day one. I cannot thank you all enough.

To Kelly Austin & Raquel Dominguez: Thank you both for welcoming me to the morning crew with open arms. I will forever cherish the amazing memories together (the ones where we weren’t falling asleep that is 😂).

To Kalup, Kelly D. and Will: Thank you for taking a chance on a bright-eyed & bushy-tailed college graduate. I am forever grateful for each and everyone of you for your guidance, leadership and support.

While my next journey is not taking me but a few miles up north, a piece of me will forever call Bowling Green, home.
