Meet Sarina Lepore, Gemma’s intern from Pace University’s MS in Publishing Program! 💙

Sarina discovered her love for storytelling while studying philosophy, politics, and law, and now she’s pursuing her dream of becoming an editor.

At Gemma, she’s been diving into one of our most accessible teaching resources, SnapReads!. These short, engaging excerpts help emerging adult readers build confidence step by step. She created our two most recent SnapReads! to accompany the books BAKE SALE and THE SPY.

She’s learning how AI can speed up the process while still keeping an author’s intent and tone intact, reminding us that, at the heart of it all, a human touch is what makes stories meaningful.

We’re so glad to have Sarina on the team and can’t wait to see where her publishing journey takes her!

As we celebrate International Literacy Day, UNESCO reminds us that digitalization is reshaping how we learn, live, work, and connect. 📱🌍

Yet 773 million adults worldwide still lack basic literacy skills, and digital tools can be both a bridge and a barrier. 📖

How is your program using technology to empower adult learners? Share your ideas and inspire others in our community. ✨

💸 lost earnings
🏢 lower workplace productivity
