Narni is a small hill town located in the Italian province of Terni. It lies on the southern boundary of Umbria, and it's considered to be the geographical center of Italy. Like many of the smaller towns in the region, Narni still maintains a striking medieval appearance today, with stone buildings, and narrow cobblestone streets. The town is famous for one of the largest Roman bridges (Ponte d'Augusto) ever built, by which the Via Flaminia crossed the Nera River. One arch of the bridge still stands; it is 98 feet (30 meters) high 💫

The David is a true masterpiece of Italian Renaissance sculpture. It was created by Michelangelo from 1501 to 1504. The incredible sculpture stands 5.17 meters (17 feet) tall. The work was originally commissioned as one of a series of statues of twelve prophets to be positioned along the roofline of the east end of the Duomo in Florence, but was instead placed in in front of the Palazzo della Signoria, the seat of civic government in Florence. It was unveiled to the public on September 8, 1504. In 1873, the statue was moved to the Galleria dell'Accademia in Florence where it can still be seen today ✨️

Montalcino, Tuscany takes its name from a variety of oak tree that once covered the terrain here. The highest point of the town offers tremendous views over the Asso, Ombrone and Arbia valleys which are dotted with olive orchards, vineyards and quaint villages.
