Oh hi, it’s me, Jess, founder of C&C!
I figured it’s only fair to share some fun facts about myself since I get to learn about my clients by literally meeting everyone they love in one fell swoop.
🏙️ I live in Somerville with my boyfriend and my two cats Chester and Francis. If you’re ever in the area come say hi!!
🪩 I am a performer at heart, I do musical improv, improv comedy, and I play piano, ukelele, and sing. Oh! And I love dancing. Swing dancing and more recently blues and contra are my jammmm.
🎥 Favorite rom coms: 27 Dresses and Devil wears Prada
💍 Favorite thing to film at weddings: Give me portrait time at golden hour and I’m happpyyyyy
Also, guess what? There are still slots tor weddings in 2023! Reach out to find out availability! ✨
It was such a pleasure chatting with Carey Gatto Boston Area Homes and about our process and philosophy. Carey has been highlighting local businesses in Somerville, and we’re so honored for a chance to connect!

We love our ✨May Queens ✨🌸🌿
Here’s a few stills from the teaser we posted a few days ago. Cannot get enough of this magical day !
Are you getting married soon? You’re going to want this tip! 👏🏻
When you’re chatting with your officiant about wedding plans, politely ask them to step aside once they announce the first kiss. This allows for a perfect first kiss photo, with just the couple in the frame. And your officiant WON'T mind, trust us 😉
Get your freaking tissues ready! Our 1 min teaser for is here, and it’s a doozy ✨♥️💍
There is something truly amazing about capturing vows, and we'll admit we tear up every single time! This day with Gary + Reb was really something special 🧡
Happy anniversary to Melanie and James!
After working with these two, it's clear that they were made for each other — and we're excited to watch you two on your journey together 💕
"The day goes by so fast, and you don't remember half of it. Having a beautiful story told through video will help us remember one of the best days of our life."
This line sums up just about every couple EVER! From the time you start getting ready for your wedding to the time you crawl into bed (or maybe even stay up partying all night! 💃), you'll spend AT LEAST 12 hours running around for your big day — and yet it'll feel like it goes by in the blink of an eye.
Your wedding video will bring an infinite meaning to a day that feels finite ❤️
One of the things we love capturing (and eating 😉) the most at each wedding: cake!
It's always so fun to see how our couples' aesthetics and tastes show through the details they select, from the cake to their floral arrangements and beyond.
As peak wedding season continues, if you're getting ready to plan your wedding for this winter or beyond, it's best to jump into securing your wedding videographer sooner rather than later. For procrastinators like me, though, don't worry — if you find that you're running behind on things, I'm still here!
Travis and MaryAnn, we're so excited to share this teaser of your wedding and can't wait to have your highlight ready for you!
Holding hands, laughing, gazing into each other's eyes... these things probably happen in your relationship every single day yet they're not something you truly notice until you have someone on the outside to capture it all for you.
Being able to witness the love you have for each other over and over again is the greatest gift you two could give yourselves.
What's better than getting married to the love of your life? Getting married to the love of your life in a gorgeous place!
Despite being based in New England, we're happy to travel with my clients to the destination of their choosing for their big day. Whether they want to get married in the mountains of Colorado or on the beach in Hawaii (just like Gary and Reb!), name the time and the place and we're there.
Wouldn't you like to remember a moment like this one forever? From the way that your new spouse admires you to the smiles that your wedding party has while watching you two tie the knot, these moments are truly priceless.
Working with Clementine & Clove ensures that the moments that are important to you are documented in a way that you can watch over and over again.
Once you know you need a wedding videographer, HOW do you actually choose the right person?
I recommend these three tips to help you narrow it down:
1️⃣ Get a clear understanding of the styles you like. Do you prefer cinematic, down to earth, moody, light and airy, or something else?
2️⃣ Determine what kind of coverage you want. Is getting a short highlight clip all that you'd like, or is it important to you that you get the full ceremony?
3️⃣ Set a budget. Take note of how much you can afford for videography and keep that in mind when finding out the starting prices of the videographers you like.
It's easy to get carried away when planning your wedding. You can forget what your original priorities are and can even feel pressured to make certain choices. As long as you focus on what YOU want, that's all that matters!
Truth: capturing the raw and real moments of your wedding day is important to us.
Taking a candid, non-posed style and approach, we focus on capturing the genuine emotions and feelings of everyone in attendance, from the couple right down to the guest. Whether it's capturing your grandparents wipe away a few tears or showing yourself sharing tons of laughs with your friends, these moments are what will mean the most to you.

As our clients, we don't just work with you; we work with your vendors, too. One of our top priorities is communicating with your photographer before the wedding to understand where they'll be throughout the day so that we're not getting in each other's way and, more importantly, doing what we were hired to do by you: capture your big day. This is exactly what we did for this wedding with @j_d_benton. We love being able to complement our work with the photographer's work so that you have multiple moments documented for you for years to come.
Whether you opt for a highlight reel or full ceremony footage of your wedding, you'll always receive a teaser of the video as well as the video itself through a downloadable link. That means that whether you're on your phone, tablet, computer, or even another device, you'll always be able to rewatch the best day of your life with your favorite person. What could be better than that?
What makes us different from other wedding videographers? We are beyond dedicated to our couples and their love for each other and will literally edit videos until we cry (happy tears, of course!). Even people who don't know the couple will cry after watching our videos because we cause the viewers to feel the same exact emotions you felt on your wedding day. We take an organic and unposed approach to capture the true essence of you and your spouse, and our philosophy is that you shouldn’t be spending your day documenting your wedding day; you should be spending your day experiencing your wedding day! Clients have the space to enjoy their wedding while we capture every moment of it. Isn't that's what's supposed to happen?
Congratulations to Chris and Colleen on their marriage! We wish you a lifetime of laughter and love.
When you start to think about what style of wedding videography draws you in, it can be overwhelming to work through all of the different choices, from cinematic or documentary to traditional or vintage and beyond. At Clementine & Clove, our specialty is shooting in a cinematic style without forcing the staged or posed moments that may feel awkward or unnatural to you. We want to get a real sense of your essence as a couple and your wedding day through a very artistic lens, which is why we work hard to create an authentic, emotional, and intimate video to perfectly capture your love, leaving you with something that you will cherish for the rest of time. If there is anything you want included in your video like a special tradition or a surprise moment, we will make sure to capture it all.
