STRUT SOCIAL MEDIA 2024: WRAPPED (WITH A BOW) 🎁🎀

It feels truly surreal to look back on this past year.

From the incredible brands we’ve had the privilege of partnering with, to the tools that keep the business running, the milestones we’ve reached, and yes — the top five artists I’ve belted out to while working from home... this wrap-up is a heartfelt reflection of everything we’ve accomplished in 2024!

Truthfully, this has been Strut’s best year yet — but I can’t say it’s been easy whatsoever. Incredible highs, transformative wins, and hitting big goals will inevitably go hand in hand with daunting challenges, very hard days, and occasional sleepless nights (not to mention a caffeine intake and number of menty bs I’d rather not calculate 🥲). But overall, resilience to keep pushing forward and an unwavering commitment to growth has been the backbone of it all — and Strut has flourished in ways I’m so deeply proud of.

This year has really been about embracing the ebbs & flows and staying true to the vision. And as I look ahead to the new year, I will continue to carry an endless amount of gratitude for everything that has unfolded so far. 🤍

To each & every client who trusted me with their business — it is because of you that I am able to do what I love and I am beyond grateful. And to my fiancé for being my rock and #1 fan, the best support system of family & friends, and to every single person who has supported in ways big and small: from the bottom of my heart, THANK YOU SO MUCH!

Here’s everything you need to know about TRIAL REELS — Instagram’s latest feature that lets you test out your reels and see how they perform before making them public to your entire audience 📣

This feature is like an experimental space for your content, where you can trial run your creativity without the initial worry about your content’s performance. You can decide if you want to share it with your followers after seeing the results — and I think it’s a freeing and interesting feature for sure!

In today’s world of social media, it’s very easy to get caught up in follower counts, viral moments, and those ‘overnight success’ stories that that flood our feeds...

However, true success on social media goes beyond viral trends or racked up up followers. It’s more importantly about:

• Being authentic and genuine
• Cultivating a nurtured community
• Establishing a strong social media strategy
• Delivering quality + valuable content
• Enhancing discoverability

Hey, hi, it’s meeee. 👋

It’s been a while, I know. But saying this was the busiest summer I’ve ever had is an understatement, and I can’t believe that September is already here!!

Since the start of June, my schedule has consisted of:
+30 content shoots, multiple new photography clients, 2 new social media management clients (with another starting in the Fall), transitions within my team, several client events, and stacked up daily do-to lists.

On top of all that, I’ve also been trying to enjoy summertime in Boston, moved into a new apartment, took some mini vacations, attended bridal showers, baby showers, weddings, birthday celebrations. I’ve been trying to prioritize my self-care and keep up with my Pilates routine. I’ve been spending quality time with Michael, my friends, my family, my dog.

I’ve just been trying my best every day to run my business efficiently while also living my life on the other side of it and I won’t lie…

It’s been insane.
My plate has been full.
My time has felt strapped.
And my energy for my own socials has been low - and I’ve felt stressed about that.

But overall, I know that things are going okay because despite all the craziness, I’m in the best place that I’ve ever been, and I am really proud of that.

I have big goals for 2025. I’m planning to show up on here more frequently again, aw I literally have tons of content to share and I want to continue prioritizing that.

But I’m also reminding myself that sometimes taking a bit of a step back to focus on the more important things is not something I should feel guilty about.

Being a small business owner is the biggest grind, and I’m truly blessed to work with each and every client that I do.

I’m also so blessed for the support system I have, and for everyone that still follows along this wild small business owner ride of mine.

I’m going on an exciting trip in September and really plan to reset while I’m there. I want to come back full swinging & be consistent on my own account again while still crushing the work I do for my clients.

We’re all out here just trying our best, and it’s important to remind yourself that your best is always enough.🤍
