and I have are getting really pumped for Italo Disco on the roof next Saturday, 5/4 3p-7p! This is going to be one not to miss.
Expect feel good 80s Italian vibes, Italo-disco gems, Aperol/Campari/Topo Chico spritzes, and funky synthesizers from brunch to dusk. 🇮🇹 🪩

Playing something pretty different next Wednesday 2/21 starting at 9P. Come by… the cocktails are great, you can get a Genny Cream Ale for 2.50, and the music I’ve selected is imo perfect for a quiet, late night basement cocktail bar. (Sample link in bio)
Lots of fun yesterday playing our interpretation of an après ski brunch. (for the first time together) came with good spirits, great music, and also a really fab outfit! delivered on the shot ski and ice luge, and everyone else was down to get weird! ⛷️

Big thanks to the NYE partygoers and staff ! It was so ridiculously 80s and they dressed up, danced all night, and were totally here for it. Plus I got to play some nostalgic new wave tracks that I would never play in a normal set.

One of the best birthdays I’ve had in a while! and I got to play and enjoy some amazing funk and disco from (or inspired from) South America and Africa. The music is beautiful and I hope to find more opportunities to play it.

Great to be back in nyc playing b2b jazzy disco house with on the roof. People were down to dance to something new, and that’s what I miss about BK. And what a view!
I haven’t done true b2b in a while, but we worked really well together last night; I never felt like I lost my flow. I also got the opportunity to work on some niche equipment: and a pair of denons with rotating platters.

This group has been doing hard work to bootstrap a successful series for the community: lots of equipment, VJ and custom decor setup, (including that box office style flyer), welcoming & supportive space, open decks through the early evening. The completely packed house affirms what a great job they’re doing! 💯

The nice thing about Groove Garden is that we could move the low & slow music inside for the chilly weather and still vibe with the dinner service.
Next month (7/2) will focus on glittery disco classics, and will be outside rain or shine under the covered patio .

Hot date with playing b2b vinyl on vday. This was a big day for me to finally play at State Park, my favorite bar in Boston. A great mix of dive bar, great cocktails, and good vibes. Appreciate the commitment to giving local djs a space to play less electronic stuff .
