A little life update + a look ahead 🤍
It’s been about a month since I last shared here, and a lot has happened behind the scenes and in real life!
This past month has included (but definitely wasn't limited to) lots of sickness, helping care for my mama pre- and post-surgery, soaking up time with family, and wrapping up business projects before the holidays!
If I’m being honest, 2025 wasn’t easy.
Business was slower, changes were harder, and continuing to pursue this business venture has been a gamble more months than not.
But it’s a dream I’m not ready to give up on.
I’m learning (and hopefully one day it will finally stick) that sometimes I have way too many ideas and try to solve every potential problem before an idea even has a chance to breathe.
One of my goals for 2026 is to let my creativity fly more freely and be okay with “fails,” knowing they come with growing pains.
With where life is right now, I’m finally allowing this space to become what I always imagined it could be!
The Sealed Collective was meant to hold both parts of my business, along with the real-life, behind-the-scenes moments, but I’ve been hesitant to fully show that side. This year, I’m leaning in to that small voice in my head that keeps telling me to push past my own doubts or other people's opinions. This will be a place for the work, of course, but also about the real + relatable moments of my life as I continue to navigate this space. 🫶🏼
As we step into 2026, I’m feeling refreshed and more aligned with where I want The Sealed Collective, Socially Sealed Co, and Moments Sealed by Design to grow and become.
This year, I’m really focusing my attention on:
🎨 Creating my own collection of designs for apparel + home goods (towels, car coasters, stickers, bookmarks, trucker hats, shirts, sweatshirts, and more)
💻 Building websites for small businesses and creatives
🎥 Expanding my VHS + DVD digitizing services so home videos can be preserved for years to come
📚 Providing ongoing support for small business owners with marketing questions
📸 Helping families create meaningful memories through keepsakes—handwritten pieces, memory books, and more
This business has always been about more than just design for me! It’s about connection, storytelling, creativity, and sealing the moments that matter most!
And I can't thank you enough for continuing to be here + supporting me through it all! 🤍
