Last June I went to Alaska to shoot an ad for the Tanaku Lodge near Anchorage Alaska, it was probably the most fun I've ever had on a shoot... In 4 very short days I saw SO much wildlife! Whales, Orca, Eagles, Otters, Sea Lions and of course a ton of fish.

The air was crystal clear and everything was so peaceful. Time seemed to work a little differently out there. Everything seemed much slower, less hurried. I think that is just a result of my attention being so present and in the moment. Wherever I looked it was like I was standing in a massive painting. Only unlike a painting, you could feel the waves gently rocking the boat and smell the sea fog silently floating by. It was breathtaking.

But I can honestly say that in the end, it was the incredible team members at Tanaku Lodge that made my experience one of a lifetime. Every single person I met at this Lodge would treat me and and the other paying guests like members of their family. It is a family run Lodge after all. They were so kind, caring and always looking for ways to help make my job even just a little easier.

I had so much fun filming and fishing with Captain Hayden. He is the son of Dennis, the owner, and one of the nicest guys I've ever met. He helped me catch a 70lb Halibut and a 23lb King Salmon, my first ever! It was so much fun haha We would come up with different shot ideas and then cruise all around the islands capturing footage and looking for wildlife. He's a legend.

I would love to go back to Alaska and shoot more content like this. It was a soul feeding experience to say the least. Also I came back with a sh** ton of fish haha.

Thank you Tanaku Lodge and the team for everything, hope to see you all again!

At Vessel Visuals we do more than just Real Estate, in this project we work with the AMAZING team from Pearson Chiropractic & Rehabilitation Center in Lakeland hills. The whole team is so friendly and extremely talented. Our actor in this video gets adjusted for the very first time on camera, his reaction is priceless haha

We collaborated on this project with Trulson & Tews who came up with the video concept and helped produce the project. Shooting the car accident scene was definitely fun!

All around fun project for a fantastic business.
