I’ve posted this before, but I actually took the HHR logo from the logo. How?

9 years ago, I thought of the name Hidden Home Records, and was told by a friend that I should make a logo for it. All I could think of was this logo, which I misremembered being a house. Clearly, I didn’t own this album at the time, nor is it my favorite Avail album by any stretch. But I drew it up and wrote “hidden home records” around it just to see how it would look and prayed that it wasn’t a rip off.

Turns out, it wasn’t a rip off at all and you can find it on the back of all of our 40 different releases, on stickers I send out with 99% of orders, and not on the cover of a single Avail album (though that would rock).

Additionally, it’s a really good logo for covering up fascist BS messages, and I certainly don’t NOT encourage you using them for such purposes.

June 6th is Pre-Short Lived Day 🍕 (Bandcamp link in bio)

’s new album comes out on June 20th, but seeing as it’s Bandcamp Friday, we are calling this day PRE-SHORT LIVED DAY at the HHR offices (which is basically just a text thread between the two of us)‼️

You can pre-order tapes and CDs for “Love to Give” by Short Lived now. If you haven’t heard Short Lived, you’re totally fu***ng up.

Let me ask you this:
1. Do you like twinkly emo like Snowing, Algernon Cadwallader, Transit, and the like?
2. Do you like hella crisp melodies that ilicit the pain of heartbreak?
3. Are you sure you’re not a loser with bad taste?

If you answered yes to any of those questions, then this is certainly the band for you. They have 4 singles out now, and the rest of the album drops - again - on June 20th.
