Earlier this month at Higgens Point, Lake Coeur d’Alene. This bald eagle momentarily dropped low enough on thermal currents for this view. The temperature was just above freezing and to get the photograph I hunkered below a riverbank for three hours, trying to stay out a cold 15 mph north wind. ~Photo by Kevin Dockter.

We Tell Idaho’s Story—your story!

Tell us your story! We’ve been publishing monthly since October 2001, and buy all freelance work from people around the state. Our page has photos people have contributed, but our print magazine is history, heritage, recreation and adventure stories. We have zero reporters and zero staff photographers because we want you to tell your own stories. You are our reporters.

Our office is at 1106 W. State St., Ste. B, in Boise, and is open 10-4 Monday thru Thursday, Fridays by appointment only. The page is almost always open.

Nearly 30 of our issues that have been sponsored, and are posted online (permanently) for you to read. You can check them out at: https://www.idahomagazine.com/sponsor/ Double-click on the cover to open the issue, and you can scroll through them. Pop them up to full screen size for easier reading, or you can print, download, link, or share them. Just don’t change them, as they’re copyrighted.

Enjoy what’s here and watch for more. Let us know if you’d like to sponsor an issue. Need a speaker for a conference or meeting? Call Kitty Fleischman at 208 336-0653, or 1-800-655-0653, or you can send me an email at [email protected]. We’ll help you find an issue that’s a good fit for your interests and location.
