UPDATE Feb. 6: We understand the community concerns when it comes to violent cases like this. These type of cases are extremely delicate and oftentimes don’t play out quickly. We have to let the investigation develop and sometimes that goes quickly and in other investigations it does not. UPDATE: We have ruled out the white GMC Denali as a possible suspect vehicle.

Caldwell Police Detectives are investigating a sexual assault that occurred earlier this evening. At approximately 6:50 p.m., our Officers responded to a single-family residence in the area of Middleton Road and Highway 20/26 after the victim reported that she was sexually assaulted in her home by an unknown male suspect. The suspect may be armed with a weapon and is considered dangerous.
Detectives would like to speak to anyone who may have seen anything unusual or suspicious in this area. The suspect may have been driving in a white GMC Denali with black trim and black wheels.
