Hello Badass Fans, and Hello to those just finding us. I abandoned my plan to re-publish the top 10 episodes of Badass the day after the national elections in November of 2024.
I don't know about you, but this last election cycle was hard on my heart. I wasn't sure that the world needed to hear tales that held so much pain, even if they also held compassion, courage, and healing.
What feels fitting to me is to post a list, right here, right now, of the top ten episodes of all time (below).
I am going to post just one of those episodes with the hope that it will be shared. This particular episode, the #1 episode, is a direct critique of the oppressive and hypocritical Evangelical Christian culture that is driving so much of the hateful behavior on the right.
The #1 episode has the power to expose this BS, and I want us to use it. So, please share widely.
Here are the top 10 episodes of all time:
10. Season 2, Episode 4: My Brother's Keeper with Dr. Jill Bolte Taylor
9. Season 1, Episode 2: From the Fire- The Ascent of Jess Troxel
8. Season 1, Episode 7: There is no Wrong Way to Survive
7. Season 1, Episode 3: A Guided Tour of the Lymelands
6. Season 1, Episode 10: Stranger Than Fiction Part 2
5. Season 2, Episode 10: The Past is Closer Than You Think- A Chat with Historian Dr. Amrita Chakrabarti Myers.
4. Season 1, Episode 4: I'm Not a Victim, I'm a Victor
3. Season 2, Episode 5: Out of the Shadows with Lindsey Maxwell
2. Season 1, Episode 1: Surviving the Unthinkable
1. Season 1, Episode 9: Stranger Than Fiction Part 1. (About Camp Tracey- a Christian based forced labor camp for children).
Please share!!!
