DS Hatch Photography My love of photography:
For me, photography is a journey that I started many years ago. This is an exciting time for all of us!

I was intrigued by the process of observation and making images on black and white film. My brother helped me get started and we developed my first roll of film on his kitchen table. Fast forward...now the digital world offers me an opportunity to continue to learn as I try new techniques behind the viewfinder and in the digital dark room. Hi Facebook Friends,
I have been selected, along with 36 other photographers to display our images at the Art League of New Britain, in Partnership with Preservation Connecticut for the juried photography show, “Picturing History: Historic Barns of Connecticut.” Come out and enjoy the art!

Thanks to our photographers and voters, you helped us raise appreciation for the Connecticut barn and over $7,000 to support our work during the GogoPhoto contest! All the submissions were fantastic and our jury carefully picked 36 photos out of the submitted 112 for the traveling gallery show. "Viewer's Choice" in each of the four categories was selected by YOU and will be exhibited too!

An outdoor opening reception and gallery opening is planned for this Saturday, October 3rd from 2:00pm-4:00pm at the Art League of New Britain. The exhibit will be at the Art League for approximately three weeks and all are encouraged to visit during normal gallery hours (due to COVID you must register for a time slot). Register for the opening or another time slot to view the gallery: www.preservationct.org/galleryopening
