Had a great session with
and friends. Got to make some new friends and spend some time with Grace and Samuel. Classic.
Today’s vocals were a blast to track and to see these singers do their thing first hand. Seen them on many a stage and seeing them in their element is always a pleasure. Shoutout to James and Valarie Brown for bringing their music to Echo today!

Taking this for a spin on a mix. It definitely has a special thing going on but definitely helped provide a polished control. Extra points for some great features like headroom control, mono fold, saturator, and a simple but solid meter with both dBFS and LUFS.

A lot of chatter but all comes down to works good/sounds good. Well done

In the eternal quest for the perfect guitar tone, the landscape has evolved dramatically with the rise of amp simulators. In this video, I put three contenders head-to-head: the Universal Audio Ruby, the Kemper Profiler running an AC30 profile, and a genuine handwired AC15. All aiming to capture that iconic Vox amp sound. But as we embark on this sonic journey, we uncover a deeper truth: it’s not just about owning expensive gear, but rather finding what sounds best to you.

Big move happening today. The Echo Studio is now on YouTube! This means that we are working on reaching music lovers, songwriters, artists, producers, and engineers in a new way. This is going to give others an opportunity to see behind the curtain into our sessions, hear more about the process from us and music creators and the artists we work with while also helping spread the word about Echo.
