Potential unpopular stance: THIS ⬆️ message is actually *really* scary.

I shared this repost from on 🧵 and got a lot of supportive feedback. Spoiler alert: a lot of the responses came from mothers (like me).

I absolutely applaud everyone for choosing their own path. Kids, no kids, 15 dogs, a crayfish (🙋‍♀️🦀). What I don't *love* is when someone with A LOT of online influence perpetuates a potentially very dangerous notion:

If you are taking breaks (such as, on weekends), you're not going to be as successful as people that don't.

Guys - this isn't OK. Any parent knows, it is IMPOSSIBLE to work 24/7 unless you've completely outsourced parenting which, again, is impossible (and also, why would anyone want to do that?).

Fact from the WHO: Working more than 55 hours per week is linked to a 33% higher risk of stroke and 13% higher risk of heart disease — and also significantly increases your risk for mental health issues.

(among SO many other, less tangible things)

Hi, my name is Kelsey, and I'm a recovering hustle-haulic 🙋‍♀️

In 2024, I dove headfirst into a coaching program (which led to additional training, courses, and beyond) that was VERY, very heavy in masculine energy (and sales tactics, to be specific).

Now, I preface this by saying that I don't regret this period; I learned A LOT about sales and psychology 🧠 and launched my first ever, highly profitable coaching program!

However, I may have dove in a little too deep 🛟.

I hit a roadblock 🚧. I was burned out 🥵. Frustrated 😩. And to be frank, not selling my programs like hotcakes anymore 🫠.

My epiphany happened when I hired my new private mentor earlier this year:I really knew nothing about the feminine, and I certainly wasn't embodying it!

This realization led me to where I am now, a new era of both learning AND unlearning 🌈.

As I shift towards balancing ⚖️ out my masculine tendencies with the ease and flow of the feminine, SO much has shifted for me.

✨ I’m enjoying productive rest (vs. just TRYING to enjoy it!)
✨ I have a new softness in my mindset, my business, and my overall demeanor.
✨ My intuition is SO powerful!
✨ Slowing down doesn't mean losing money. In fact, it can mean quite the opposite.

This shift has helped me show up differently in my business, my family, and my life, making everything feel more aligned and less exhausting.

I'm excited to keep exploring and sharing ... and I'm curious ...

It's 2025 friends, we're leaning away from the hustle-at-all-costs, "aggressive" messaging.

Instead, we're stepping forward with a mindset of alignment, ease, and intentionality.

Because here’s the truth: you don’t have to push harder to see results—you can invite them in.

I'm reframing the way I envision growth, and am stepping into leadership, flow, and joy. And so are my clients (who are seeing major results with just a few small shifts, btw.).
