I was the worst of them all, yet God transformed my life and gave me Matt, exactly when i needed him. I had been in toxic realtionships before. I had been used & abused. I allowed the opinion of a man to hold more power in my life than the opinion of THE One who created me.. I longed for someone to want me, and thought my body was all i had to offer.
Never in my life did i feel more alone and worthless. The emmese shame and guilt. I didnt believe i could ever change. BUT GOD.
I didnt think men that wanted to wait existed. BUT GOD.
I thought if a man DID exist he wouldn’t want someone who didnt. But you see when you ask God for forgiveness and turn from tour sin you are washed white as snow and that old person doesnt exist anymore in the eyes of God. So Christians also shouldnt judge someone from their behavor before they were saved. A new creation, with a new purpose and a new devotion. You are never too far gone. Sin does not have to win. Lean on God and trust that obeying Him with bring a better path. Its not always easy. But man, i wouldnt be where i am today if i wouldnt have made that ONE decision a few years back. I used to spend hours in the gym going through the motions. I would sit in a machine text everyone back, scroll on my phone, take way too long between sets and wonder why I wasnt seeing results. I thought id never see results in the gym. I never checked food labels. I didnt stuff my belly and over eat, but what I was eating was so calorie dense that small portions (that do not satisfy your hunger) took out a huge chunk of my daily calories. (A 500 calorie cookie here and a 400 calorie brownie there). I didnt understand why I was gaining weight when I was only eating a little bit here and there. The thing was, I was never eating nutrient dense food. Everything was processed and full of empty calories that inly leave you hungry. I didnt prioritize protein, because I didnt realize it helps you stay full longer and helps you lose weight rather than gain weight if done right. I actually stayed away from protein because I always thought of those huge “mass builder” shakes and thought protein was used soley to put on pounds (which I did not want). I would go in the gym and never challenge myself with the weight I was choosing. I thought I should get results by doing the exercise. Its about more than just moving. Its about pushing. Pushing your limits and pushing yourself. Fueling your body properly and getting the right nutrients in. Its not as hard as people want to make you think. Its not a specific diet everyone is doing that you dont know about.
