Ace Tone Productions was founded by musicians, for musicians. We created the company under the simple philosophy that every musician, no matter the
ir budget, should get to see their creation come to fruition. Matt spent his high school and college years working with different bands and writing music. The constant strain was always getting enough money together to get the album out. Recording studios would charge upwards of $100 per hour to track and mix the songs, meaning an album of 10 songs could easily surpass $10,000. It was during the summer before Matt graduated with his degree in Music and Sound Recording from the University of New Haven when everything finally clicked. Putting together a great sounding record didn’t need to cost $10,000. There was a better business model. We have refined our methods over the past 5 years working with artists on many different projects. We tailor each experience to you, working to find the best possible workflow to help you feel comfortable and productive. We start with a pre-production meeting to map out your project. We will provide you with a cost estimate based on that discussion. From there, we will begin tracking, setting up studio musicians if needed, mixing, and mastering your record. We offer multiple payment options and payment plans to make it easier to focus on your music and not the clock. In 2017, we moved to our current location in Bethany, CT. Located 15 minutes from New Haven, and 30 minutes from Meriden, this quiet town provides a great space for artists to record their music. We also launched our recording packages, which have helped many musicians bring their music to life at very affordable rates. That is the beauty of Ace Tone Productions. Good production quality at a price that lets everyone sleep at night. We try to accommodate any budget, big or small.
