I’m suspended on Air,
not all fully there
I’m clouds not settled, or fixed
absolute serenity I seem
to transmit

Buoyant, afloat, shifting
my peaceful consciousness drifting
my hovering body seems to allow
me to soar beyond meanings

Nothing matters here, I just exist
no content here I miss
in this joyous moment I’m freeing,
this present time of being

Rising and falling, rising and falling,
clouds in the sky forming
a new revelation is dawning
that in the Air among clouds
I’m a bliss of floating

The Young and the Ancient.

My daughter Sage is a natural when it comes to modeling. All I had to do was to tell her, “Stand in front of that tree, now try the other one over there. The feeling and emotion, the pose, the silence, was all her. She took her favorite cape and went to ‘Humboldt Redwoods State Park’ this past fall for a weekend with me. We found this ancient garden. The place demanded attention, but so did she. Her presence demanded the ancient to look at the young.

Alchemy under the sun

Air, the only element I cannot touch
this troubles me very much
I like the emotion that you feel
from touching something,
but here i’m empty,
this element, i have to imagine it

Maybe Air
wants me to be empty
and reset my mind
touching senses, redefined . . .

Air wants me to understand
that is Air that touches us as wind,
when it touches our skin,
when is gentle and kind
or violent and merciless
with a mastermind?

We breathe all night and all day
this invisible power, strange to say,
it gives us 4 minutes without it
and it is merciless about it

And why it hides in the transparent?
this most mysterious element
Is it just science,
or a bird spirit
wanting an alliance?
maybe is both,
nature’s most caring oath
between the residents of the elements
and the dwellers of the transparent

When I try to touch the Fire
burns and severe pain i acquired
the only element i cannot touch
immediate rejection, ever so much
it demands a certain kind of respect
slow down, pay attention, be checked

Rapid chemical combinations
we all partake in this animation
out of nowhere, like magic,
with a simple logic,
warmth and light i can foretell
from a distance, Fire means well

We are enchanted
when we stare at the Fire
when It makes music like a choir
a moving storyteller that glares
when it dances in hot air

It likes to hypnotize
any viewer sensitize
What is it,
that i can’t stop staring at you?
i’m bewitched as i see through
loud in the night
out like a light
you’re a bewitching chanter
an inducing enchanter

When I learned to read the Fire
is like it planted on me new desires
it was a discovery of strengths
that can go to great lengths
this element indeed
is more than an element to me
is a power, adorned with flowers
and without knowing my credentials
it kindles my potentials
