All this talking and not enough walking!

We can talk about curfews, plans, committees, and everything else but at the end of the day, what this community needs is someone willing to work.

Tonight, one officer was alerted to a shooting. Instead of just taking the report and moving on, he immediately went to work: collecting information, following leads, tracking down the alleged suspect, and ultimately negotiating his surrender.

Within two hours.

That’s accountability. That’s initiative. That’s good police work. Most importantly, that’s someone willing to step up and do what needs to be done to uphold righteousness and justice.

Enough is enough.

Thank you, Chief Young, for being willing to step up and address crime in Isola. Our communities don’t just need more talk, we need leaders and officers who are willing to work, respond, and make a difference.

Actions speak louder than words!

We need her out of there cause she is failing the youth by not holding them accountable for their actions. Not all youth are mental or have issues. Some just need to be taught earlier that actions have consequences and maybe we can correct the path before it’s too late.

Slaps on the risk are only letting them know nothing is going to be done until they are charged with more serious crimes and then it’s too late. Some times the best we can do is say, you did this and that was wrong so this point forward you have to learn from the wrong you have done and see the consequences. It’s sad that some of these kids committing this gun violence have been in your court room and you let them go with slaps on the risk saying they need help but now they not alive or they headed to prison.
