Shot a doe last night. The hit sounded off and watched her carry my arrow away. She stopped about 80 yards out and just stood in place for a few minutes. She walked away normal. Backed out after my headlamp started dying. Watched the video back last night. Dead center shoulder shot. Went back this morning to continue tracking.
No luck.

Day 1 of rut-cation starts today. 2nd year of annual pre rut deer camp in the hills of WI. Some needed tree time this morning. Nothing so far. I’ll be scouting till these boots fall apart these next 3 days.
