We need the gym PACKED OUT!! ALL community members are welcome and ENCOURAGED to come!
Also students, remember, if you come and sign in, you get 20 BONUS POINTS in ALL CLASSES!!!!!! Be sure to bring your buddies and show up! This is something you WON’T WANNA MISS!
They’ll be games, contests, prizes, cheers, double kwik pizza rolls, breakfast for students, and fun for the WHOLE FAMILY!!!

‼️ATTENTION SENIOR GIRLS‼️
Senior jeans were supposed to be worn this Friday for Fired Up Friday, but since some seniors are athletes and have to wear their uniforms for that day, senior jeans will be instead be worn on Homecoming Friday (September 27th)—that way, all senior girls can wear them together and no one is left out!! Because of that, we won’t be painting senior jeans until sometime beforehand in September!!! Dates for doing so will be announced soon. There will most likely be more than 1 date in order to make sure all girls get their jeans finished to their liking!! Thank you all for understanding!

We have some EXCITING news to share with you! On Pike County Bowl Friday, WSAZ NewsChannel 3 is coming to showcase our school for their Fired Up Friday Segment with Joseph Payton WSAZ!! Clips from the filming will air live on WSAZ between 6-7!! This is a community wide event, open to the public, and we would LOVE to share this moment with all of you! Senior girls, Mrs. Chapman is graciously opening up her room to you to paint your senior jeans together as a class! It’ll be Tuesday, August 27th after school starting at 6:00!! Paint and brushes will be provided. You must bring your own jeans and you can bring your own fabric medium—this keeps the paint from coming off in the wash
Feel free to bring whatever else you want to decorate your jeans with as well!
Let Mrs. Chapman or Lara Tackett know if you can make it so we know how many to plan for!!

Spirit team cards go on sale tomorrow. Cards will be used to admit students into all regular season games for any sport at BHS. Cards can be purchased in Mr. Copley’s room (room 210) during homeroom, 6th period, or after school. The cost per card is $10.00

Wednesday, don’t you forget about wearing your totally tubular neon, radically teasing/perming your hair, and sporting your gnarly kicks as we go back to the 80s! 🕶️
And last but not least, on Thursday, you can either get with your FRIENDS and channel your inner sk8er boi, fresh prince, or Cher from clueless for the 90s, or grab your favorite dress and layer them with your fly jeans, put on that bling and favorite velvet tracksuit, or get *NSYNC with the boy band craze for the 2000s!! 👛💿
