They recently completed a project in our 120-year-old Lakewood home, and the results far exceeded our expectations.

From the start, Eben, our sales rep, was transparent about costs and clearly explained where certain costs could vary because of unknowns. That level of clarity made us feel confident moving forward and set the tone for the rest of the project.

Dimitrii, our designer, was great to work with. He really listened to our goals and helped us find the right mix of modern elements that still felt appropriate for an older home. His suggestions were thoughtful and never overwhelming, and he clearly had our best interests in mind.

But the real standout was Ivan, our project manager. Ivan was phenomenal: responsive, detail-oriented, and clearly takes pride in doing things right. His communication was excellent throughout, letting us know what to expect each week and when different parts of the job would be completed. Thanks to his organization and leadership, the entire project moved quickly and was finished well ahead of schedule. They truly over-delivered.

Everyone who came through our home—the tile installers, plumbers, electricians—did top-quality work and treated our space with care. They were so professional, well-organized, and respectful of our space that you’d hardly know a full renovation was taking place. Jerry, the electrician, even took the time to explain a strange existing wiring issue he corrected and made sure all the switch plate screw heads were aligned vertically, a small detail that didn’t go unnoticed, haha.

The craftsmanship is outstanding. Everything is clean, precise, and beautifully done, which is no small feat in an older home. We feel incredibly lucky to have found a team this good. Even the inspector commented, “You’re in really good hands.” We’re already looking forward to working with Keselman Construction again on a future project, and hopefully with Ivan as well.

🚿 Top Mistakes We See in Custom Showers 🧼

We see these all the time — and if you’re remodeling your bathroom, make sure you don’t make the same errors:

1️⃣ Showerhead too low – If you’re 6’4”, you shouldn’t have to duck to wash your hair. Think long-term comfort.

2️⃣ No handheld shower – Trust us, once you’ve cleaned your shower with one, you’ll never go back.

3️⃣ Missing waterproof membrane – Tile alone isn’t waterproof. Without proper prep, you’re risking major water damage down the line.
