Sockit Studio and owner make up The Sockit Engineering Mentorship Program. A program created to teach and mentor those wishing to gain a solid audio engineering foundation and learn the art of recording, mixing, and mastering with Devon as their mentor. Our program’s roots are Devon’s experience at Full Sail University, Unique Recording, Sony Music Studios, and as the owner and head engineer of Sockit Studio for 25 years. This experience is supplemented with six textbooks, one of which was the primary textbook for The Recording Connection. Devon mentored through their program at Sockit Studio over the last 18 years. During his career, Devon has taught and mentored over one hundred studio staff engineers and students.

Full program details can be found on our Linktree in bio. Multiple payment options are available including 24 month financing through Klarna. Due to the extra mentoring time included with prepay, enrollment in this option is limited. Currently, all lessons must be taken in order.

Are you a music producer / engineer in need of a professional studio to bring your clients to? Studio B is available with no engineer for $20/hr. Bill your clients as necessary and pocket the difference with zero overhead.
We work with PROs (Freelance Engineers and Producers) to meet their clients’ needs. These services differ in our two studios, which can also be combined into one large studio for full band tracking.

Studio A bookings come with an assistant, and PROs can use our Pro Tools setup or they can bring their laptop and interface to connect to our patchbay quickly. This gives their mobile rig access to almost all the equipment in the room and can be used for simple vocal recording, full band tracking, analog summing mixing using our API 1608 II console, and hardware mix inserts.

Studio B is available for use by PROs with their own laptop, interface, headphones, and mic. Just like Studio A, their interface connects directly with the equipment in the room including our Grace controller, giving access to talk back, speaker volume, etc.

Our linktree has resources for PROs including our full rate card and session documentation with examples. Additionally, there are links to the manuals for all our equipment, microphones, and some of our custom forms.

Soon we will be offering free workshops to demonstrate the workflow options that can be created with our analog hybrid setup and, for those that are mobile, how to best connect to it. We will also explain our patch record examples and how you can use them to plan and document your next session. Now through Labor Day Sockit is offering a new client 5hr block special with in Studio A for $285.00!
Any client that has not done a session with Devon is eligible for this special. Blocks must be booked in advance, prepaid, and cannot be prorated. Multiple blocks may be purchased and credited to your account but only before your first session. Block times are available between 12pm-11pm. Bands needing both studios for full band tracking may add Studio B at the discounted rate of $50.00.
